Coenzyme Q10 and Vitamin E are both found in almost every tissue cell and the skin and are the only naturally occurring fat soluble antioxidants in the skin. They are mainly secreted on the top layers of skin by the sebaceous glands (sebum). Their content in the skin decreases with age and/or UV irradiation.
