Why ALPAFLOR® BUDDLEJA AO?
The Buddleja davidii or 'Butterfly Bush' in English, is native to the Sichuan and Hubei provinces in China. It was brought to Europe in the 19th century. The nectar is particularly attractive to butterflies and water solutions of the plant were used in traditional Chinese medicine as a wound healer. It is known as 'Mi Meng Hua' and is thought to drain fire from the body, thereby benefiting the eyes.
