Why COBIUTY?
COBIUTY is an upcycled extract from the pulp of Mauritia flexuosa — known as Buriti or Aguaje — a revered Amazonian “superfruit” naturally rich in carotenoids (pro-vitamin A), tocopherols (vitamin E) and vitamin C . Unlike Buriti oil, COBIUTY is derived from the pulp, giving a high concentration of youth-supporting antioxidants while supporting circular beauty principles .
What makes it particularly exciting is its retinol-like mechanism. In vitro studies on human keratinocytes show that 0.1% COBIUTY stimulates RXR gene expression by 43.6% after 24 hours, while not stimulating the irritation-associated RAR receptor .
