Your sweet treat for deliciously defined waves, curls and coils. Stronger than your average gel (minus the crunch!), this velvety custard keeps curls in check with a naturally soft, frizz-free hold.
Step 1: Combine ingredients with Phase A and Melt butter. This should not need to exceed 50-55oC.
Step 2: Combine ingredients in Phase B. Heat to 60oC under gentle paddle stir, until Oleamuls OW flakes have molten
Step 3: Premix Phase C
Step 4: Combine Phase A (Oil) into Phase B under high shear.
Step 5: Add Phase C premix into emulsion and continue to high shear for 5 minutes
Step 6: Remove Emulsion from high shear and place under paddle stirrer for 30 minutes. Premix Phase D
Step 7: When the emulsion is 50oC or lower, incorporate Phase D and paddle stir for a further 5 minutes.
Step 8: Transfer emulsion back to high shear. Conduct a final high shear for 5 minutes.
Step 9: When emulsion is 45oC or less, pour into final packaging and allow to rest over night.
